If you are a regular reader of this blog, you may have benefitted from other sagely advice on Mountain Gear: Tip #7, Tip #6, Tip #5, Tip #4, Tip #3, Tip #2, and Tip #1
After our next trip to the mountain, I shall wrap it up with a few other tips. There should be at least 2 feet of new snow after today's storm.
Here, for spring, are a few running tips:
Never get rid of your old pair of running shoes. Alternate days with new shoes until you love the new shoes.
When the new shoes become old shoes, buy new, but keep the old new/now old. |
Hats from resorts extend the ski season in an imaginary way. |
Pleasant music with a good beat makes for delightfulness in running. |
It's nice to peel off layers as one warms up. |
Hot feet are not happy feet. Thin socks are great. |
Velour pants from the 80's are great for cold-weather running. They may, perhaps, be stylish once again.

Music in one ear? That would drive me nuts! I just try to turn it down enough so I'm aware of any rabid dog that's coming to bite me.
