Arrived in Alaska

After our plane landed, we took the ferry over to Ketchikan. The bus system is called "the bus "we got on the bus, and the bus driver assured us that he would tell us where our stop was. I had my GPS on my phone going so I knew where we were supposed to get off. We passed it.  Garth figured it  would just be a scenic route. So we went up to totem bite park. That is the end of the bus line and the bus turned around and came back the other direction. We thought for sure our bus driver would let us off this time as we passed our destination. No such luck, we passed it again. Then Garth asked him and he said he had just forgotten us. Since we had now passed it he told us we should get off at the post office and transfer to another bus and he would give us a free bus pass for the next day.  We asked the guy sitting next to us to tell us when the post office was nearing we got off there. The next bus came and the driver said, " don't get on this bus get on the next bus." So we waited and caught the next bus. We thought we may just ride back and forth forever. We finally arrived at the Black bear inn and visited with our very talkative host named Nicole. We then walked to the narrows inn for dinner had a bowl of linguine that was supposed to have seafood and there might have been 2 tablespoons of seafood for $27.
