ings or eds

Some things in life are best enjoyed in the past tense, others as an ongoing event. For example, many people only enjoy a yard that has been "gardened" and deplore the act of "gardening."

Below are my "ed" and "ing" lists:

Ed
paint - ed, launder - ed, shop - ed, laugh -ed

Ing
garden - ing, eat - ing, sew - ing, run - ing, laugh - ing

I think if we all enjoyed the 'ing' more we would live in the moment and find more joy. Happiness is in the journey'ing'...
